Through equal parts diligence and luck I managed to track down the birth place and birth home of my Great Great Grandfather, my Great Grandfather, and my Grandmother. Their birth home is now a condemned building, but still retains it’s Italian charm. We arrived here on my 48 birthday, April 17th. Although a lower elevation from my current home, this area is way too cold for Nebbiolo or Sangiovese. They grow a few whites here, but I have yet to try them.
