When you mention Arizona to most people, their first reaction is “OOHH. the heat is dreadful. Phoenix is a desert.” Understandable. But it’s not an accurate description of the whole state. Many Many MANY variations in the terrain here. Snowy mountain peaks, flat land desert, lush canyons with flowing creeks. All here. Just have you look for it. I went hiking with my father and a couple friends through Sycamore canyon. It’s still basically winter-ish. The trees are just now starting to push and there are little patches of green everywhere. Spring in here.
