It took awhile but I finally have the label art for Primer Paso approved. All the others will follow easily now. The printing process is a bit tricky since we’re screen printing right onto the bottle. I’m sure it will look incredible. Our fine government took issue with my use of the word “steroid.” as if I would put performance enhancing fruit in my bottles. The original statement was borrowed from a description a friend of mine had after tasting a 90 Soldera Reserva. He used the phrase, “cherries on steroids.” I liked it so much I used it to describe the Cab/ Sangiovese blend, The NAGA. Uncle Sam couldn’t relate. So I changed it to “…cherries from the planet Kyrpton.” We’ll see if that flies.
