I’m happy to report that the 2005 Merkin Vineyards Chupacabra is sold out. So at the moment, I have no wine to sell you. But I will soon. We’re expecting our bottles to come in shortly, and plan to bottle the 2005 Primer Paso (Syrah with a dash of Malvasia and Muscat) and the 2005 Nagual de la NAGA (Cab Sav & Sangiovese) in March. Most likely I’ll be releasing the 05 Primer Paso in mid April. I’ll keep you all posted.

Excellent juice. My personal favorites are the La Familia (a blend of Petite Syrah, Syrah and a dash of Cabernet Pfeffer and Arizona Viognier), the El Serrano (a blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Cabernet Pfeffer), and the Cabernet Pfeffer.
