Lei Li and I stopped by Henschke while in Adelaide. Managed to catch Stephen and Prue and they were kind enough to give us the grand tour. The cellar is so rich with old school history. Stepping into the winery is like stepping thru a time portal. They still use the in floor cement holding tanks. Nuts. So much labor goes into these things. And they seem pretty dangerous. I’m surprised a modern day Insurance company would cover this. Insurance Co’s suck. As a finale’ they drove us over to the Hill of Grace vineyard. Such a lovely site. The epitome of Micro Climate.
